At the core of Fornax Robotics lies a robust and ever-evolving R&D principle. We do not believe in the approach of repurposing consumer tech or outsource design; our research is deeply embedded within industrial processes. We specialise in engineering robotic systems for ships, tanks, vessels, confined spaces, hightemperature zones, corrosive interiors, and geometrically complex infrastructures.

We engage directly with operators, technicians, and safety managers to uncover recurring challenges in operational maintenance — ranging from hull part cleaning & inspection, boiler descaling, tank cleaning to remote inspection in pressurised or explosive environments.

Each system is engineered from the ground up to address a defined problem—not as a generalpurpose machine, but as a custom solution with modularity, maintainability, and mission-specific capabilities at its core.

We deploy early-stage prototypes in controlled pilots across dry docks, power plants, shipyards, and refineries. Field data is actively fed back into the design process, creating iterative improvements and ensuring real-world relevance.
